For the past year, I’ve been photographing the house I grew up in. It has become the place where I visit very seldom and when I do, there is always something new and unrecognizable. It feels less like home and more of a hotel I stay in with my family for a few days every couple months. In photographing this place as the energy changes with time, I have never allowed myself to be in the picture until now. It’s not really about being uncomfortable anymore, and it has become more about coming to terms with outgrowing a space.
